Early childhood educator Michelle Moore is taking on Wild Onesie Week fundraiser, run by the World Wildlife Fund and which invites everyone to put on an animal onesie in support of threatened species and their habitats.

This year the green sea turtle is being promoted along with the giant panda and the native black flanked-rock wallaby.

“I went on a trip to Sydney and we visited the zoo,” Michelle said.

“I saw a write-up on the week and I thought it would be good to sign up and raise money. I have over $130 already.”

Michelle said the students at Happy Day helped by dressing up.

“We’ve also been talking about animals and we decorated a panda on Monday,” she said.

“We will be doing a few more things during the week.”
